Directions to Range:     Take I-495 to Route 2 west. Immediately take exit 39. Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Taylor St. Take your first left onto Porter Rd. and follow it to the end. At the end of Porter Rd., turn left onto Whitcomb Ave. (Whitcomb Ave. becomes Littleton County Road). After 1.3 miles, look for a driveway on the left side (small sign, dirt road, easy to miss). Gate should be open on match day. If you reach Old Schoolhouse Hill Rd. or Cleaves Hill Rd., you've gone too far.

 

Rules:                            Current N.R.A. Smallbore Rifle Rules will apply.

                                      Rule 3.2, any rifle.

                                      Rule 3.7c, any sight for Open shooters

                                      Rule 3.7a, Metallic sight only for Junior competitors.

 

Competition open to:    Junior and open shooters. Preference will be given to Mass residents up to range capacity ( 28 shooters )

 

Registration Fee:           $30 for either 3p or prone, $35 for both.

Team entry fee (3p and/or prone) $10

 

Entries Close:                9pm Wednesday June11th 2008

 

Post Entries:                  Post entries will be accepted until 8am on the day of the competition if space is available.  $10 late fee will be added.

                                     

Firing Starts:                 9am June 14th.

 

Awards:                        Separate awards for open and junior shooters. Final

awards to be determined.

 

                                      Open:  cash/award point prizes

 

Junior: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place awards for Match 4, 5

in each junior category.

 

                Open and junior winner will have names, date, score engraved on perpetual State Championship Trophies

 

 

MATCH SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:

 

                                                All firing done on A50 targets with backers at 50 meters.

 

Match #1              40 shots prone

Match #2              40 shots standing

Match #3              40 shots kneeling

 

Match #4              3P Championship. Aggregate of Matches 1-3

 

Match #5              Prone Championship. Additional 20 shots prone added to prone scores from match 1. 60 shot aggregate.

                             Fired immediately after match 1.

 

Match #6              3 person aggregate of Match 4, unfired

Match #7              3 person aggregate of Match 5, unfired

 

Start times:           Relay 1 Prone 9am

                             Relay 2 Prone 10:30am

 

Sights:                  Juniors Metallic sight only, Open shooters any sight allowed.

Coaching:             Coaching will not be permitted on the firing line. Competitors must leave line to talk to coach.

 

 

General Information:   H.S.C. range safety rules will be enforced (eye and ear

protection required). These are HSC’s rules not the Match Directors rules ;)

 

Junior and Open winner will have name engraved on

Perpetual trophy.

                                     

                                      Empty Chamber Indicators will be required and

                                      provided if needed.

                                               

                                      Please arrive at least 45 minutes before relay start time.

         

H.S.C can provide 8 shooting mats and/or spotting

scopes if any competitor or coach needs them.

 

Breakfast and Lunch available in Clubhouse

Competitors must provide their own target clips (~12)

 

 

RAIN DATE – June 15th, Father’s Day. I will call the rain date in effect by Wednesday June 11th 10pm. Emails and or phone calls will be made to all registered competitors. Match director is a meteorologist if that mean anythingJ
